Beets

VEGETABLE

Beets are known for their strong, earthy taste. They come in a variety of colors including yellow, white, pink and the well known dark purple.

Both beets and their juice extract have been associated with positive health metrics, including reduction of blood pressure as well as improved exercise potential. Contributers to these effects are thought to be beets incredibly high nitrate contents.
