Celery

VEGETABLE

These long crunchy stalks have an intense flavour when eaten raw, milder when cooked. They're often dipped in sauces as a snack, but are also used in soups and salads.

The only real nutrient in celery is vitamin K, alongside various antioxidants. They're however mostly water, providing a means of bulking up meals without adding calories.
