These unique fruit are known for their abundant little seeds known as arils. They are often used to mix into dishes, or garnish, as well as being concentrated into juices.

The effects of pomegrante extract have been studied, showing positive results with inhibiting cancer cell growth (prostate and breast). There has also been association with reduction of blood pressure, cholesterol reduction and arthritis.
