Pumpkins are a squash, famous for their large, deep orange variety. They're often used to bulk out soups, casseroles and curries as well as being used for ocassional desert.

A great source of vitamin A (beta-carotene), pumpkins also have high lutein and zeaxanthin contents, all of which are associated with healthy eyesight.
