Capers

SEED

Capers are the immature flower bud most often used in Mediterranean cuisines. They work great in creamy fresh dishes like pastas, salads and vegetable medleys.

Depending on if they're preserved in brine, capers can be high in sodium contents, but naturally contain high copper and vitamin K contents. They also contain various antioxidants, potentially aiding in prevention of degenerative diseases.
