Medjool Dates

FRUIT

Dates are known for their sweet, gooey taste. Medjools are predominently grown in Israel, as they require a hot climate to mature. They can be used to supplement sugar in deserts, as well as being a delicious treat in their own right.

Alongside their natural sugar, these dates contain a decent amount of minerals such as copper and manganese. With their high energy content, they can be used as a means of supplementing energy spent during exercise.
